Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

KPM Restoration Inc. ("KPM," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Fill out a contact or estimate request form
  • Call our office or emergency line
  • Email us directly
  • Interact with us on social media

This information may include your name, phone number, email address, property address, and details about the damage or service you need.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and service requests
  • Dispatch crews and schedule restoration work
  • Communicate with you about your project
  • Coordinate with your insurance provider (with your permission)
  • Improve our website and services
  • Send follow-up communications related to completed work

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. Unless you opt out or send a recognized browser opt-out signal, we share website activity and measurement information with the advertising and analytics providers described below. Depending on applicable law, advertising disclosures can be considered a sale or sharing of personal information. You can reject this use through Privacy choices. We also share information with service providers who assist us in operating our business, such as insurance companies (with your consent), subcontractors working on your project, or technology providers that help us manage our communications.

Mobile information and text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies, Advertising Measurement, and Your Choices

Our website uses optional analytics and advertising measurement unless you opt out using the controls below or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. We do not show a cookie banner. You can still browse our services, call us, and submit a service request when tracking is off. We retain an opt-out in this browser until you change it or clear browser storage. An allowed preference is stored for up to 180 days. Using another browser or device may require you to set your preference there.

Your privacy choices below let you opt out of optional tracking, including advertising disclosures that may be considered a sale or sharing under applicable law. You can reach this page through the Privacy Policy link in our website footer. Opting out stops future optional measurement and refreshes the page to stop previously loaded tracking code. Save any unfinished form before changing this setting. It does not undo information already sent; contact us about access or deletion requests.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC). When your browser sends this signal, optional analytics and advertising measurement stay off, including when an older saved choice allowed cookies. We do not require you to create an account or submit a form to make this choice.

Your privacy choices

Enable JavaScript to view and change this browser's measurement preference.

Use the buttons below to turn optional analytics, advertising measurement, call attribution, and embedded maps or videos off or on for this browser. Opting out refreshes this page to stop tracking code already loaded. It does not prevent you from calling or submitting a service request.

Global Privacy Control overrides an allowed setting. Turn that browser signal off before choosing to allow tracking here.

What optional tracking does

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads: measure website activity and advertising results. When optional tracking is enabled, contact identifiers used for enhanced conversion matching are hashed before transmission. We configure Google's advertising-personalization consent as denied.
  • OpenAI: measures completed inquiry forms that may be attributed to ads in ChatGPT. Measurement can include an ad-click identifier, a browser identifier, the website origin, event type, and event time. If automatic advanced matching is enabled, supported contact information may be normalized and hashed in your browser to match conversions. Hashing does not make the information anonymous. We do not include your message or damage description in our OpenAI conversion event.
  • CallTrackingMetrics: attributes calls to website visits or campaigns and may display a tracking phone number. Opting out leaves our normal phone links available.
  • Embedded maps and videos: content from Google, YouTube, or Vimeo loads while optional tracking is enabled. Those providers receive browser request information when their content loads.

These providers receive network information, such as your IP address and browser information, when your browser contacts them. Their handling of information is also explained in the Google Privacy Policy, OpenAI Privacy Policy, CallTrackingMetrics Privacy Policy, and Vimeo Privacy Policy.

Browser storage and retention

Our preference is stored as kpm_privacy_v1. An essential kpm_privacy_optout cookie also remembers an opt-out for up to one year; browser storage limits can shorten this. While optional tracking is enabled, campaign parameters are stored as kpm_attr for up to 90 days and may accompany your inquiry. The OpenAI pixel uses __oppref for ad-click attribution, with a requested lifetime of 30 days after it is written, and __obref for a browser reference, with a requested lifetime of 365 days after creation. Browser restrictions or deleting cookies can shorten these periods. Opting out clears the stored campaign parameters and known first-party measurement cookies accessible to our site.

We also use short-lived session storage to complete form handoffs and show the appropriate office number on the confirmation page. This supports your requested service and does not require optional cookies. Form contact identifiers are included in the measurement handoff only while optional tracking is enabled. Your inquiry itself is still delivered to KPM when optional measurement is off.

Cookie lifetimes are different from retention of submitted service inquiries or information already received by a provider. We retain service records as needed to respond, perform work, meet applicable recordkeeping requirements, and resolve disputes. Contact us to request information about, or deletion of, your records.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at info@kpmrestoration.com or calling (518) 859-9769.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
